Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Fidus Synergies LLP ("Fidus", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it.
It covers this website, fidus.one, and Fidus Beam, the social publishing tool that runs on our brand websites
(fidusrealty.com, shamkamboj.com, mohaliaerotropolis.com, fidusflo.com and sakhisangini.com) under the path /beam.
1. This website
- Contact forms. When you write to us, we receive the name, email address, phone number, organisation, role, website and message you enter. We use them only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Server logs. Our servers and our CDN (Cloudflare) record IP addresses and request details for security and troubleshooting.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
2. Fidus Beam
Fidus Beam lets the owner of a brand publish posts and videos to that brand's own Facebook Page, Instagram account, YouTube channel and LinkedIn profile or page. Only the brand owner and people they authorise can sign in to Beam. Beam does not collect data about the people who view, like or comment on those posts.
What Beam stores when an account is connected
- Facebook and Instagram (Meta): the access tokens Meta issues, the Page ID and name, and the Instagram business account ID. Beam uses them to create posts, Reels and the first comment on the brand's own posts, and to check that the connection still works.
- YouTube (Google): an OAuth refresh token, the channel name and the IDs of videos Beam uploaded. Beam uses them to upload videos the owner scheduled and to read their upload status.
- LinkedIn: an access token and the member or organisation ID used to publish.
- Content: the titles, captions, images and videos the owner uploads into Beam, and the IDs and links of the published posts.
- Sign-in data: the owner's email address, a password hash, and a cookie for "Remember this device" if they choose it.
Tokens and settings are stored in a database on our own server and are never shared with other brands or third parties. Images and videos are stored in the brand's own storage bucket (currently Cloudflare R2), one folder per post, together with a post.json file that records the captions, schedule and links of the published posts. The platforms fetch media from there, so anyone with a file's link can open it. Beam never deletes these files automatically: they belong to the brand owner.
YouTube API Services
Fidus Beam uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to Beam you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Beam's access to your Google account at any time from the Google security settings page. Beam's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Meta Platforms
You can remove Beam's access to Facebook and Instagram at any time in Facebook under Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations. When you do, Meta notifies Beam and Beam deletes the stored Facebook and Instagram tokens for your account automatically. Meta's handling of your data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
3. How long we keep data
- Contact form messages: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows.
- Beam tokens: until the account is disconnected, access is revoked, or you ask us to delete them. Beam deletes a token automatically when the platform confirms that access is gone:
- Facebook and Instagram: as soon as Meta tells Beam that you removed the app or asked for your data to be deleted, and also when two hourly checks in a row find the token invalid.
- YouTube: when Google answers twice in a row, at least 50 minutes apart, that the access was revoked or has expired. Network errors and Google outages never count.
- LinkedIn: when LinkedIn answers twice in a row, at least 50 minutes apart, that the token was revoked or has expired.
- Beam post records and media: while the brand uses Beam, or until the owner deletes them. Beam never deletes media automatically.
4. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. For Beam, the steps are on our data deletion page. We reply within 30 days.
